Hi,
I just noticed something weird: I have a 40 GB harddrive, but when I look in My Computer, it shows my C: drive is total size 24.4 gb and free space 5.15 gb.

If I know for sure I have a 40 GB drive (I just opened the case, unscrewed my HD and looked on the sticker) how can it say total size 24.4 GB. Could this be a windows error? Anyone know how to fix this? Norton systemworks; system information says my HD is 37.27 GB, but when I look on the Station tab it says 24.4 GB, so Im missing over 10 gigs somewhere. I have no problem with having to re-install my system if needed, but theres no point in doing that unless I can re-claim that HD space first, so any more help would be appreciated.

Is it a new hard drive on a old computer? If so, then it could be a BIOS issue. Download new BIOS and flash
