"Easy" ways to keep life interesting...

I'm not suicidal or am bored with life. I just like to avoid hardcore routines and enjoy trying new things. Any "easy" ideas?

Things I've done lately to spice things up:

- A couple times, I worked to shift my bed time / wake up schedule by a few hours. After going back and forth a few times, I really started liking the morning.
- I went out to eat / get fast food a few times and asked the server / cashier to surprise me. All but one time I was impressed.
- I work downtown and sadly see a lot of homeless people asking for food or money. I sometimes give money and once gave away my lunch. Unfortunately, I am not the richest man in the world. Regardless, one day before work, I decided that I would shell out some serious change and give it to a random person who asked. When the time came and the dollars left my hand, the return smile was worth far more than what I gave up.
- I bought a random book which turned out to be a very interesting history of our (as in English) alphabet.
