I'm getting a new game rig for 1500$ US, and I need to find an adequate monitor. It doesn't have to be the best, but it should have good stats, and very good performance.

PLus, it should look good too:)

my choices:

VX922

VX924

and last but not least-it also looks the best, in my opinion...

wide open to choices and suggestions XD

Ok, then for pure performance, I'd reccomend the VX922, but you sacrifice some picture quality. Overall, I'd reccomend the VP930b, but mine was defective out of the box, and I read another recent review where his DVI connection died after one week, so right now, I'd say this monitor is risky. So, when I return mine, I'll probably buy the VX924 myself. BTW, I'm also desperate. I just got a VP930B from Newegg, and it was defective out of the box. I really like the way everything looked on the 930, but the colors were all messed up and I couldn't even get any type of color calibration to run on it (see my post about X1900XTX and VP930). Text was crisp and clear, DVD's looked good, didn't run any games though because of the color problems. As I mentioned above, I really liked what I saw of the 930, but I'm afraid to purchase it again as I think this may be a bad batch.
