Anyone with or planning to buy ASUS notebook - read this

You might get more then what you have or will paid for but dont be surprised if your antivirus software goes berserk:

"ASUS HAS REPORTEDLY shipped a number of laptop recovery DVDs containing software cracks and confidential documents.

The 'crack' directory lists serial numbers for various software packages, while another directory is comprised of confidential Microsoft documents for manufacturers... including associated keys and program files.

The DVD also contains a number of internal Asus documents, original source code and an embarrassing Power Point demonstration that details "major problems " such as application compatibility issues.

One Asus user told a US forum that he had discovered company CVs on his recovery disc..."
