It would be most appreciated if anyone would know how to go about properly installing a single SATA hdd with an ASUS SK8V (using an opteron 144) w/ windows XP SP1. So far ive installed the following drivers onto a secondary ide hdd thats being used for running xp currently, excuse the cut and paste: VIA_VT6420VT8237_SerialATA_V220E
1_FastTrak_S150_TX2plus_BIOS_1.00.0.37
1_AMD64-FastTrakS150TX-Series-PDC2037x-1.00.1.39
1_SATA150_TX_Series_Driver_1.00.0.27
apparently there are two RAID controllers and one device that windows recognizes, but not as a partitioned disk, i cannot access it at all - and any attempt to use a floopy and f6ing while trying to fresh install have failed. I have run out of things to think of - any tips would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
