I'm using P4 1.9GHz, 256MB RDRAM, Radeon 9600, Intel I850 motherboard

I'm always use this system for PC Game playing such as C&C Generals and get the best performance, but after I bought D70 and use the Nikon Capture to convert NEF (Nikon RAW file) my system is very very slow.

Is my system memory not enough for this process? If yes, how can I do?

Buy another 256MB RDRAM, or Wait for P4 Prescott & DDR2?

Thank you

I certainly hope you're not trying to run Windows XP with any memory intensive apps on only 256MB.

Get more RAM at once. You'll get enhanced performance.
Your system is slow likely because the system accesses the HDD for virtual memory because it's running low on available RAM space.
