I have a Palm Handheld Zire 71 that is going crazy, it turns off & on only
when it wants to, the cursor moves all by itself, etc.etc. It seems to be
"Static Electricity", can anyone tell me if something can be done about this?

Use anti-static drier sheets when you dry your clothes.
Wear shoes with conductive soles. Use skin lotion to
moisturize your hands. If that doesn't help, send it back
for service.
