Hey Ladies/Guys

I read through the forum trying to decide but could find a case similar to mine.

I will probably be getting 2 x 7900GTX (or maybe just 1 - depends).
Because I work in Visual Studio .net for programming and 3ds Max for CG I usually extend the desktop on two monitors or use 1 and have drafts/notes/sketches on the other. Today I use a 19" AOC CRT and a 17" LG.

I was thinking of getting a really good 19" for gaming (as a main screen) and a not too cheap (crappy) 19" as "Extra space".

First of all: Will having SLI be overkill on a 19" @ 1280x1024 (Native Res)?

Let me point out to whoever wants to help that If I can give a few bucks (euros in my case) more and get a secondary screen that will play games close-to-satisfactory then I will. Someday I might split the screens between 2 PCs and don't want a screen just for surfing the net/word processing.

I have looked at over 75 19" from Benq, Panasonic, LG and Acer. Is there a brand I should avoid?

Thanks!

oh, and a question: O know that when SLI is enabled clone/dualview/extended views are disabled. But do all the DVI ports still work (showing the same thing?) This is a bit important as it would be useful to have my cheapo projector and 19" on differect Ports and use them both for gaming, without switching cables/buying a quality-deminishing adapter)

Thanks Again!
