ipod case question

i just got an ipod case...

it was my favorite out of the ones i could get my hands on... and im pretty impressed with it. its actually real leather not the crap u get with cheaper ones.. and it fits the ipod very snugly... but theres a question i have that may lead to a problem... the thing is, the case has the flip lid and its held in place by a magnet... now any person that knows anything about electronics knows that magnets are bad for them, and VERY bad for harddrives... my question is, is there a chance that the harddrive could fail due to the magnet? should i return it and get one without a magnet in it? id like to keep my ipod as long as possible and if the magnet shortens its lifespan i may just get a different case.. thanks for the help...
