the stock 80 gig on my Gateway C-140 is filling up quick, so its time for an upgrade.

It looks like the stock one is a WD 80 gig sata 1.5

My plan is to replace it with a 320gig Seagate Momentus 7200.3.

Does anybody forsee any problems with this?

are there any better laptop drives out there?

my initial impulse is to spend a few extra bucks and get a drive with a fall sensor. thoughts?

I plan on sticking the stock drive in an external enclosure. would there be any problems using the backup partition from the old HDD to reinstall the OS on the new HDD. as this is a tablet, I'd like to get the tablet specific stuff in addition to the OS otherwise, I have a non bloat Vista32 disk from my desktop I could use.
