I was looking for my laptop processor. Acer Aspire 1640 512Mb DDR2 533 Hynix RAM 3-3-3-7 Intel Pentium M 1.6Ghz 2Mb L2Cache/400 Mhz FSB "Dothan" mpga socket 479. Intel 915GM Express Chipset. I was trying to figure out which was the fastest processor I could upgrade to with a 533Mhz FSB but being careful not to order a mbga but a mpga. Compuvest in Wa. I seen a little bit slower 750 1.86Ghz 533Mhz/ FSB for $73.73 a little bit more reasonable perhaps only 17% slower but less than 50% of the price of a 780.
