I have a logitech MX700, been working perfectly for more than half a year, then all of the sudden it started loosing connection, either while in games or just browsing internet it will pause and get intefrerence signals. It started about two weeks ago. Anyhow, my mouse isn't broken as my buddies live a few miles down and have the same mosue and same problem, does anybody know what frequency it operates at? Or what types of signals could cause such interference? If i can't figure this out and solve i'll have to buy a new mouse, probably MX510 as its improved opticle engine and wired.

Asus A8V Deluxe(rev. 2.00) / A64 3200 (winchester) / 1024mb OCZ DDR500 (2.5-3-3-8) / BFG 6800GT@stock / Baracuda 120GB / Lian-Li PC-65 / Syncmaster 700NF / OCZ Power Stream 520

There are a few reasons why this is happening
Ok as far as i know the possible sources of interference are:
Mobile phones
Laptops
Washing machines(they interfere with my radio and will interfere with my forthcoming new mouse.
Floresent lighting
Radios

I think you should try switching them off when you use the internet or play games until you're certain that it works okay.

The genius is in da house!
