In Michael Dell's latest interview, he made a comment about how he doesn't think the Dell XPS line will compete with Alienware, and in fact that they target subtly different markets. Now, I wouldn't even consider buying a prebuilt gaming computer instead of building my own, but I have spent some time looking at the systems offered by the two different lines for a while now, and I've no bloody clue what Mr. Dell meant. Can anyone provide any clarification?

I thought the only key difference was Alienware supports mostly AMD and Dell supports only Intel.
