My friend has a Dell Inspiron laptop, and recently his LCD screen has a thin purple line running from the top right side to the bottom right side.
Can this be a case of image persistence? Would turning off his laptop for a few days fix the problem or should he take advantage of his extended warranty and call Dell to repair?
