Hello,

I have a Kingston 2.0 USB Bluetooth adapter. I want to purchase a Bluetooth headset to use with my computer/cellphone (Vibrant). I've been looking at newegg.com and see a lot of headsets for under $20 that feature Bluetooth 3.0.

So, will my Bluetooth 2.0 adapter work with a Bluetooth 3.0 headset?

Thanks!

@ Destion8045 No one replied to my question. So, after doing an exhaustion Google search I cam up with no answers and decided to purchase the 3.0 Bluetooth headset.

I bought an LG 3.0 headset and successfully paired it with my Kingston 2.0 Bluetooth Dongle!

The Bluetooth 3.0 headset also works with my Samsung Vibrant!

In summary, Bluetooth 3.0 and 2.0 seem to be backwards compatible with regards to voice communication.
