Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Anyways my problem is that I have numerous taskeng.exe running on my pc. I don't believe I have a virus, I have scanned malwarebytes and avast anti virus and nothing has come up. I've checked the file location and all seems normal. I have using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64 bit running, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6800 Defualt Clock. Anyways thanks!

It's the fact that their is 10 of taskeng.exe running, I know what it does but I only require one to run which why I am at a loss.

You can go into the task scheduler and see what has been setup. I would say it could be a virus if you have that many running.

Doesn't have to be ;)  But you could say it is. Yes I do torrent quite a fair bit but it isn't exactly illegal where I live due to our mighty fine copyright laws. As long as you do not sell or share you are fine. Also I ended some Old task and odd tasks within the scheduler and I went throught EVERYTHING so I believe it could of been a old error or possibly somethings worse. Anyways everyone I do not believe I have solved it as I just did this 5 mins ago. Also if I did have a virus of some form usually files would go missing, accounts would be hacked or solved, also larges sums of money would have disappeared from my bank account which has not happened, so which leads me to believe it is a bug of some form.
