Hi all. Long time reader of THG. I needed some help with setting up TV on my box, so I figured I'd try the forums here.

I've got a Hauppauge PVR-150 without a remote and was wondering what I can use for a remote for this. I'm most likely going to buy SageTV for my TV client and would like to find a remote that will also work with a (after college) TV, DVD player, and reciever. I was thinking that a Logitech Harmony 659 would be a good starting point, but I must just be having a huge brain fart with finding information on setting this up for HTPC's because I'm pretty sure I'll need a IR reciever of some kind to pick up it's signal. Can't find any substantial information on a Harmony being compatible with IRMan, just some guesses.

Any suggestions on what I'll need? The remote is still up in the air, but I'd like to spend around $150 for the remote and IR reciever if possible.

Thanks in advance.

I'm also looking for a good remote. Will any remote work as long as you have an IR receiver? I have an extra remote that came with my motorola cable box, and would love to use that.

If not, I'm really confused as of what to get. I want something that will allow me to change channels and volumes, obviously, but also record, pause, rewind, play, etc. live TV and access my recording program's menus.
