I have an old Dell Latitude D510 and I have been looking for a replacement.

Something I have noticed with a number of offerings available is the overly reflective screens.

What types are more like the older offerings with less reflections or what manufacturers are offering anit-reflective screens?

I have looked at the Dell XPS M1530 and HP dv5t.

I like the specs but not the standard screens.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmmm... That might be tough to find. Most laptops with the kind of specs of the XPS M1530 and Dv5T are going to be glossy. To be honest, I love the glossy screens, but I guess each to his own...

MSI GX series come in matte.

So do The Lenovo Thinkpad T series. . . actually, I'm almost inclined to say all the ThinkPad series are matte. . . hmm. Yeah so the the W series. Man that W series. I think I'd like to have one of thoes.

But they are all somewhat pricer than the Dell or the HP.

I believe that all the ThinkPad series ARE matte.

I couldn't find an option for "glossy-ish" anywhere in the ThinkPad section.

Thanks for the input. I'll check out the ThinkPads.
