I have already scoured the internet but have not gotten a definitive answer of whether or not the Sony Bravia V32XBR1 have a DVI input that can be connected to a PC?

According to the manual, there is no DVI input. HDMI is the only digital input, and they don't list computer resolutions for that connection. It appears that the VGA connector is the only computer connection.
