Need some advice

My iiyama 19" CRT just died due to a storm, so i need some advice on a new monitor.

I am currently deciding between a Viewsonic or a Samsung widescreen. Having never bought one before i only have a small idea of which to get.

I have about £200-£250 to spend on it.

This is what u need to know:

At least 19 - 20" widescreen
Will be used primarily for gaming (fps/mmorpg)

I must admit i do like the sound of the software included in the Samsung which includes multiple display modes that modify the brightness, etc based on what u are doing (i.e. movie mode)

I have read in other reviews the Viewsonic is considered by many as the "best" gaming one because of its response times and such.

Any experience suggestions or thoughts would help me greatly.
