one stinking stuck pixel

I just got the Viewsonic VX922 based on the Tomshardware article on 19" displays. I bought it from Newegg as "open box" to save some money and I was expecing to find a few stuck pixels and have just one. It is red so it is stuck not dead. I ran one of those utilities that flash colors 30 times a second but that did not work. I tried rubbing it and that did not work.

Any other suggestions?

Also, I know CRT's have the best, clearest picture, but is there a way to make the text a little clearer?
