I need everones help....please!

I'm looking for the best deal I can find on a 37" or 40" LCD HDTV for under $1600. I'm trying to stay away from "off brands" and trying to stick with the big guys ( JVC, SONY, SHARP, PANASONIC...etc) can anyone point me to a place on the net thats reliable....no refurbs either!

I know you said that you wanted to stay away from "off-brands" but I would suggest you check out Vizio brand. They have a 32" that goes for $799 @ costco and a 37" for $999. They have some nice features including built-in ATSC tuner w/QAM.

Your best source for to check these and other brands out would be AVSforum.com. Go to the plasma and LCD section and search Vizio L32 or Vizio L37. You might be pleasently surprised. I would suggest you read from the last page first, since they (Vizio) have upgraded the models since they first came out.
