Where does Windows 7 store emails

Can anyone tell me where I can find my email files ( where Windows 7 stores emails on the computer)?

Log on to your ISP and open the mailbox.

I think you misunderstand. I would like to know where I can find my emails stored on my computer not how to retrive my emails. If I knew what ext they use than perhaps I could do a search which would point me to the disk area where they are stored. Thank you for trying.

Windows does not store emails sent from Hotmail for example. Or Yahoo. Log on to the mailbox of the email provider. Emails are stored on the email server in your account.
