I'm helping a friend of mine buying a new LCD for his gaming rig. And I wonder if there is any problem with the resolution of some games. It's not pretty if the screen get stretched and things like that.
Some games doesn't support widescreen resolutions, is it then possible to avoid streching and run the game in a box with black edges?
Is it a bad choice to pick a widescreen for gaming? We are looking at the LG L204WT in particular since the price is very good.
