The last of the IBM "designed/inspired" T series is officially gone as I checked the Lenovo website this morning and the website no longer has them for sale. The x61s is still alive, but probably for not much longer.
Over the last 4 months, I have lost all my trepidation over the pure Lenovo Thinkpad machines-- T400 / X200 / X301 / W700, ect. (the W700 is an insane amount of power to have in a notebook-- if you're into that sort of thing)
And their IdeaPad series is, well. . . that U110 and Y730 has a lot to offer in both style and substnace, though. . . man they are pricey for the good stuff (WUXGA, processors that don't suck).
So long T61!

So long T61 you will be missed. my laptop before this one was a P3 based Thinkpad oh how I loved it. maybe I'll look into a used X series as my portable machine and leave my dually at home for gaming lol
long live the IBM Thinkpad!
