I was just sitting looking at my Dell 19" flat panel LCD when the screen
suddenly went black. I thought it had just gone into stand by, but when I go to bring it back the screen stays black. I rebooted the computer and still the problem persists. When I power off the monitor and power it back on again it will flash the screen then go black. Ive tried hooking it up to my laptop to see if it was the video card, but the same thing happens. I think it is a dead backlight or a faulty inverter.
Any advice on how to solve this would be much appreciated
