Good Laptop?

I am looking to purchase this laptop, is this a good deal? Should I look for something better, this is about my spending limit - i feel like i would use my desktop more for games, but it seems like this laptop could handle most high end games.

This is a good laptop, the GPU is midrange but current generation and i would be more than happy with it in my laptop...benchmarks are good, but there are better deals out there. For example, you dont have the best resolution, and for an 18.4" screen, i would expect better something like 1680x1050

i find that buying off known brands never returns the best deals although you do get brand guarantee

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? larger screen the better

3_What screen resolution do you want? whatever is best for the size - like that 18.4 screen

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Portable

5_How much battery life do you need? Would like it to be able to run 4-5 hrs on battery while playing a video for trips.

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? It is not the reason I am buying it but I would like to if I choose - Id be looking at Crysis, Oblivion, and other high end games. Would like them to run on high, but medium settings are fine.

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing, surfing the web, playing music, watching movies, Etc.) Watching movies, surfing web, general school work, some video editing

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need? no real preference

They have more bus,produce less heat....

T8300:

T8300 has a faster clock (2.4 vs 2.2) but the difference isnt much and P8400 has more bus and better battery life.
