I'm planing to buy this monitor, so i read the review on THG (the only reviews that actually help, they're the best).
As i have very sensitive eyes, i can't stand monitors that have to be too bright to display good picture and nice contrast. I saw in THG test that birghtness is well calibrated, this is the first thing i look as i spend many hours a day in front of my PC. But i'd like to hear from someone who acctualy has it, how does it behave in this area? Is it really calm on the eyes for office applications when you turn the brightness down? I don't work in the dark. When you do that, is white still white?
And one more thing, how does it handle dark areas in games?
I won't have problem with movies, as i don't watch them on the monitor.
Once again, i'd like to thank THG for giving us the best display reviews on the web. I've made a lot of mistakes with overbright displays, until i started reading it.
