my laptop currentl has a 90 nm TL-60. Its sucks but i survive.
Laptop has the rx690 chipset and a S1 socket. I was wondering if anybody has heard of anyone upgrading from a TL to a ZM (Turion Ultra).
the Socket is the same (both are S1) and has the same number of pins. the only difference i can tell is the hyper transport speed. TL is 1600 while the Ultra is 1800. Will this cause an issue possibly?

Im upgrading to a ZM-84 soon as the TL-60 bottlenecks my hd 2600 pretty bad.

Thanks guys.

Should work. MSI GX711 uses the RX690 and comes with a Turion X2 Ultra. EDIT: But then they supposedly use different pin assignments. Grr. Oh well.
