LiteOn CD-RW

I bought a CD-RW (LiteOn 52x32x52) for a friend yesterday. I placed a blank disc into it and tried to burn a few files to it. It could successfully burnt. However, I found that it is very "noisy". That's not the case for another CD-RW (6x4x24). I never used this brand or so high speed of CD-RW, is this case normal? Thanks.

My 48x LiteOn CD-R is just as quiet as my much older 8x Sony CD-R drive.

I just wonder how peepel can say so straight that 48x is as quiet as 8x, just wonder.
