Hello Everyone,

I've been looking around for the most bang for the buck widescreen LCD I can buy, and after shopping around I've narrowed it down to two different ones. My questions are 1) Is it worth spending the extra money for the Samsung? 2) is the resolution of the Samsung more likely to be compatible with games?

I just built a X2 4200 system with a 7900gt video card.

I've found the Viewsonic for $200 in a nearby store, and the Samsung is $70 more after rebate. Want to pick up either one tomorrow, but need advice. Thanks.

The analog only viewsonic will not perform very well with games.

The samsung should be fine for games. Compusa has the resolution spec'd wrong at that link. 1680X1050 is 16:10.
