I cannot turn my laptop on. The power button had broke off, but I was still able to turn it on with a pen. But now it will no longer turn on.
How can I get it to come on without power button?

You can take it apart and short the two contacts on the underside of the board where the switch is - or get a new switch and solder it on there. My guess is the pen thing wore the switch out.

Or jammed it. Or introduced enough foriegn particulate to foul the switch.
