Does this have windows 7?

So I built myself a new PC, and with the motherboard came a CD for the drivers.. but I also realised that on the bottom it was written microsoft windows XP/7... So I tried booting my PC with it but it was some kind of restore program.... I don't have an OS on my pc yet but do you think that windows 7 is on that disc and that I could download it if I had an OS would I be able to download it? Or does it just mean that the CD is only compatible for W7/XP?

That's just the drivers. you don't free windows with a motherboard. You need to buy a copy of Windows 7 for your machine now.

If you purchased bare parts and built it yourself, it will not come with windows unless you purchased a copy as part of a combo, i.e. motherboard + windows.

Just put the disk in a working computer and see what's on it.

It only means the drivers are for XP and Win7. You need a valid license(key) for Windows.
