Hello guys

I want to buy a laptop and can't make up my mind between a Asus F3KE-AP012 Athlon 64X2 1800Mhz, 1Gb DDR , HDD 160Gb with a ATI2300 videocard and a Asus F5N- AP033D Turion 64 2200 ,1gb DDR , HDD 120 Gb with a NVIDIA GeForce 7000 videocard.

Any ideas?

Those are-- ok, they've been around for a while. Yeah, terrible choices.

I got the Athlon 63X2 for about 580$.I imagine that in the US they are a lot cheaper , but these are the prices around here and these seem to be the best choice given the possibilities.

Any thoughts on my choice ?Is it really that bad ?

Those notebooks are quickly becoming ancient. For $580, I'd say that's a ripoff. I'm sure you can find a US manufacturer that will ship to you - where do you live?
