Hi!
I'm using a Sony VAIO VGN-T17GP.
It's an old notebook and had some repairs already.
Once the motherboard was changed and the keyboard also, so even if there is warranty still available then I have voided it.
So there are a lot of frozen or dead pixels at the bottom, center of the screen, but they are black and only visible at a white background.
I don't know the difference between frozen or dead, but after searching in google I found that frozen pixels are usualy red, blue etc. but dead are darker then background.
Also don't know how to tell if it is stuck of dead, but I can't see the pixel on black, so it's only stuck?
I hope it's only stuck, because as I read then dead pixels are dead and no way to pull them out of grave, but also read that it is still possible, but they are just "dead", because light doesn't seem to reach them.
JScreenFix Deluxe - says that will fix LCD stuck pixels and claims that will fix burn-in, but seems that it doesn't work or maybe I'm using this app wrong.
I haven't tried using the pressure method or tapping method.
What could I do?
