PalmOne Zire 72 Issue

I have a PalmOne Zire 72 and, a PalmOne Treo 650 CDMA phone.

my dialer on my Zire syays my phone and it are connected and that I can go ahoed and use the dialer but, when I try that I get a error message as to check my phone settings and try again.

It keeps giving me this message over and over again even though my phone set up says everything is correct and ready to use.

Need help with this.
