Im looking around for a new system, & found this company:

One of the monitors they are selling is a VIEWSONIC VA902B 19INCH TFT ACTIVE MATRIX SXGA LCD....It is about 240$, but rather than spending that much, I decided to check out e-bay & found ViewSonic Optiquest Q9B-2 19" LCD Flat Panel Monitorb for 150$. One of the diferences is that the connector from the one on e-bay is a 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15), and the one from the company is a 15-pin mini D-sub. What is a D-sub, & would this be a problem when connecting it to the buyxg computer? I have not purchased anything yet, just getting some information....

Well, the D-sub HD-15 is a spiffy name to your standard, blue, VGA connection that a regular monitor takes. 99% of LCD's now come with the slightly longer, white, DVI connecter which is of better quality (no noise or ther wierd stuff on dark pictures).

You can always find an adapter between DVI and VGA (HD-15) if you need to, but I really reccomend getting an LCD monitor with DVI because that is standard now, and the blue VGA connectors are usually only used for CRT monitors nowadays.
