I just got 2 new toys.
MSI 865PE Neo2-PFISR i865PE P4 800FSB
Radeon 9800 Pro

I have P4 2.4 533FSB from before. Which I might just keep.
I have Kingston PC2100 512MB (1)

I am tempted to keep the memory and buy another PC2100 512MB chip.

My question is: How much difference would it make if I get 2 512MB Corsair PC32000 vs keeping what I have and buying extra chip of PC2100. Issue being cost-benefit.

Software used the most: Windows XP, Splinter Cell, X2, Prince of Persia, Delta Force - Black hawk down.

Sell the PC-2100 on E-Bay. What would be the point of having one of the fastest P4 boards with super-slow memory?
Get at least 256mbx2 PC3200 of Crucial or Kingston so you can run in dual-channel mode. Mushkin Basic Green would be great too.

That is what I wanted to do, I just needed someone else to tell me (Yeah wuz)

One more thing, is having 4 x 256MB Corsair PC3200 same, better or worse then having 2 x 512MB Corsair PC3200?

I'd rather have 2-512mb sticks. I doubt you would notice any difference in speed, but it might make your board a tad hotter with four sticks to cool instead of two.

It would be better to go with 2 512MB modules, part of the reason for this is future upgrades, if you have all the slots filled and want to upgrade you will need to get rid of 1 or 2 of the modules. Running 4 256MB modules will increase the heat in your box so stay will 2 512MB modules. Check out Crucial before you buy.
