Wireless printer doesnt work with new router

wireless printer had been configured to laptop via netgear router and wired to desktop as well. netgear router crapped out and was replaced with previously owned linksys wireless router; latop no longer communicates with printer

check the firmware of the router..it may be too old. you may have to use a 3 party firmware. before you do try turning off any passwords on the router make it fully open router and see if the printer can connect to it. if the printer cant see the device check that the printer not locked to just n. but can log on to older b/g wifi. if it cant see the old router with new firmware then it a chipset issue between the printer and old router.
