I have 2 computers win98 SE. These are networked together thru a linksys
router along with other XP computers.
I want to install XP on the 2 win 98SE.I have licences to do so.I know
it takes about 1-2 hours to install on one. So I want to cut down on
installation time. Also this will be a learning process for me.
All pertinent data has been saved.I just want to do a basic install. I
can do updates later unless this dual install will also do updates.

Most of the time is waiting. Copy the CD and do both at once. It's not worth
trying fancy tricks for just 2 PC.

You must install Windows XP individually using the installation CD
and the unique Product Key for each installation.

Thanks for info. I remember in NT4 that you could copy the I386 folder
to one computer and then have those computers installing,to point to
this folder.I'll probably do a clean install one at a time.

it one at a time.Coping comes with company liability.
