Whilst installing Windows 7 and getting to the driver section, I placed the Intel 7 series Utility DVD which came with my motherboard in the DVD drive. However, windows won't read it and said it needs to be formatted. It further says tht It can't format C.

I'm a fool. It's actually not reading my Seagate 500gb hdd. The list is blank when it asks me where I want to install windows 7. Did I need to install other things before windows in order for it to read my HDD or is it just not hooked up correctly?
