I got myself an HP Pavillion Dv2000 for University, and i've noticed the cursor seems to move very slowly left to right, but overly fast up and down. Altering cursor speed makes both faster, but it becomes uncontrolable up and down.

I've tried installing the drivers for the trackpad, but it didnt seem to work.

Any ideas?
