Today ive picked up a belina 1925 S1W. For films its spot on, for games using the quake 3 engine its not (not tried quake 4 engine - pc cant do it).
I play a lot of enemy territory, no matter what resolution i try I still get bluring when turning around or looking up and down. the res for my monitor is 1440x900 so i tried setting this in my config:
Can you describe "blurring" a little better? It sounds like you might be describing 'ghosting' which shouldn't be that noticable when turning corners. I doubt it's related to the refresh rate if it still happens at 75Hz.
its 5ms. Ive managed to sort it by running the game in 1024x768 window mode and setting my desktop resolution to 1024x768 which my monitor can do at 75hz. it can only do 1400x900 at 60hz. Its not as perfect as it was on my crt but theres not much difference.
Ive heard directx games work better for widescreens? Ive also heard somthing along the lines of the game has to support the resolution and that resolution must be native to your monitor. Unfortunatly theres no 1400x768 option in quak3/et/rtcw. Can a quake 4 player check if its there in the options please?
