I currently have some XMS PC2700 running fine at 200fsb in my 2nd computer... I am soon going to order some Value Ram PC3200 ~$90 for my mother's computer... I will run it at PC2100 or PC2700 speeds because of the motherboard I have for her... which of the two should I keep for my 2nd computer...

There is no reason I should not be able to get 210+ out of that Value Ram, is there?

The PC2700 XMS is with an unlocked Barton 2500+... I started getting artifacts at 205 or so, but I did not mess with the timings that much... I thought it was doing good for a PC2700 stick running stable at 200... that is the 2nd computer in my sig...

Ya, that is what I thought... I will have to swap the cool, black ramsink that come on XMS ram, though...

no way.... I have not thought of that... taking the clip off voids the warranty on the ram? It is just a clip on cover, right... I have not taken on off before...

Sadly, I've heard most RAM heatsinks are simply for "bling" factor. Most people get 1-2 degrees cooler with them. Still, gotta love those Corsair LED rams. Of course, now thermaltake has lighted RAM heatspreaders, so it's probably only a matter of time until they become as common as LED fans.
