Startup issue ?

Start | run | MSCONFIG

Click Startup tab.

Disable one item at a time and start the computer. this should help you
isolate the corrupted application.

Thanks but that was the first thing I did along with run/run once etc. in
the registry

I slaved the hard drive to my computer,panda antivirused it(something like
134 odd viruses cleaned) then downloaded zonealarm,avg free and adaware to a
folder..reinstalled hard drive to client computer,then ran avg...zone.and
adaware,to clean out all remaining offenders(suprisingly avg found some that
panda missied..hmmmm)..now computer starts and runs well.
