Dell support...but you dont need a driver for a dvd...its in Windows...

Can you explain a bit more? do you mean software for playing dvds or the drive not working/showing up on the desktop.

For video playback VLC works pretty well. As for dives not showing up or working, Vista and 7 sometimes do this. Try googling dvd upper lower filters, Microsoft may have an automated fix on its website (not sure if it works, times I've come across this problem I've done it manually). Of course if the drive has a physical problem can't help much there.
