Hey all long time reader first time poster,

I love the resource of the benchmarks, but I am looking to get a laptop from Dell and wanted to compare two videocards, specifically the

-256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 Graphics Card
-256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphic card

I cannot find the mobile versions of those anywhere on the site - can someone help me?

Tom's doesn't have mobile cards on their charts, they only do mobile CPUs and even those charts are woefully outdated. This is about the best you can do, bu these are synthetic benches only: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobil [...] 844.0.html

The 8600M GT is the better card between the two. The competing ATI card would be the HD 3650.

I'm getting the error too. The main site is in German which is why it looks so odd. Let me see if I can fix it.

Thanks guys, I found what I was looking for (I knew the 8600 was better, needed to know how much as it is also more expensive)

If u are from the UK check this out i am choosing a new laptop for my friend and was gonna say get a dell with an 8600GT ect coming to like £700

check this out its a tosh and a lot cheaper and with a better graphics

BTW its the XT version if u check the modle of the laptiop ull see most places showing XT at the end and that graphics card beats the 8600 GT

^It's not a bad system. I personally like the build quality of Dell's more than most others, my Sager not included (can't beat it, IMO). This is also personal preference, but that screen res would kill me (too low for a 15.4'' system IMO).
