Which price point? At least the 3K mark, and maybe even approaching the 5K. The SSD is what did you in, plus the SLI. NVidia mobility cards are way over priced.

Did you over do it? Maybe, it depends on how into gaming you are. If you play games religiously at native res, then no probably not.

im sick and tired of lag with my ASUS playing jerico. It's got a 8600m GT and intel duo 2.20. I really needed to step-up!!!! So i went all out this Christmas hehe :-)
