Hello,
I have a Iomega portable hard drive with 400 gigs of mp3 music. My Toyota has a USB port for audio music. Can I connect and operate this hard drive in the car without damaging the unit or music?

Yes you can use it. But you may have to format it to FAT32 because a lot of them cannot recognise NTFS file system.

Does the cars radio meet the power requirements? I know mine could only take flashdrives

Mine powers up just fine.

But if power is a problem, you can always get a car 12v to USB 5v regulated power adapter to plug it in.

Common on ebay under iphone or general phone accessory (for phones that use USB cable to charge up).
