The points system is based on the following:
1. Ranking on the power chart. The points allocated are dependent on
the number of players.
The top player in the power chart receives x points, where x=number of
players, the second player receives x-1, the 3rd player x-2, etc. Eg,
If there are 11 players, then top ranked player gets 11 points, second
player 10 points, 3rd player 9 points, 4th player 8 points,etc. If
there are
only 4 players, the top player only gets 4 points, second 3 points. So
the more players there are, the more points in that game, increasing
exponentially. However, if you started the game but did not make it
into the final power chart, you only get one point. If you were in the
chart with no sectors, you only get 2 points, irrespective of your
position. Corulers only get their proportion of their country's points
(rounded up). Eg a country coruled by 3 people comes 2nd out of 10
nations. The country score is 9, but each coruler individually gets
only 5 points.
2. Winning the game. 10 points for a "win"
Additional points are allocated for a "win". The 10 "win" bonus
points are divided up amongst the winning alliance. They are further
divided amongst corulers of a winning nation (rounded up). Eg if there
are 2 winning nations, they get 5 points each. If one of these
countries has 2 corulers, they get 3 points each.
3. Deitying
The deity receives 5 points + additional points equal to half the
number of players in their game (rounded up). Eg If 12 players in
game, deity receives 11 points. Where there are co-deities, the points
are not split, in recognition of the work involved.
I had originally planned for the score to be based on a 4 year cycle. I
have decided to change to a 5 year cycle. Current points are for
2001-2005.
This list includes data for:
ITW, TM2K4, PZ I-III, Retro Empire, Havok I+II, Pangaea, Midshipman
I+II, Newbie I+II+III, Iceworld 2-5, Ogre, Mr Slowly I+II, SW I+II,
LOTR I+II.
Note that points have not been awarded for countries in Star Wars and
LOTR if I do not know who you are. If you would like your points
credited, or if you have multiple aliases and would like your points

1. Ranking on the power chart. The points allocated are dependent on
the number of players.
The top player in the power chart receives x points, where x=number of
players, the second player receives x-1, the 3rd player x-2, etc. Eg,
If there are 11 players, then top ranked player gets 11 points, second
player 10 points, 3rd player 9 points, 4th player 8 points,etc. If
there are
only 4 players, the top player only gets 4 points, second 3 points. So
the more players there are, the more points in that game, increasing
exponentially. However, if you started the game but did not make it
into the final power chart, you only get one point. If you were in the
chart with no sectors, you only get 2 points, irrespective of your
position. Corulers only get their proportion of their country's points
(rounded up). Eg a country coruled by 3 people comes 2nd out of 10
nations. The country score is 9, but each coruler individually gets
only 5 points.
2. Winning the game. 10 points for a "win"
Additional points are allocated for a "win". The 10 "win" bonus
points are divided up amongst the winning alliance. They are further
divided amongst corulers of a winning nation (rounded up). Eg if there
are 2 winning nations, they get 5 points each. If one of these
countries has 2 corulers, they get 3 points each.
3. Deitying
The deity receives 5 points + additional points equal to half the
number of players in their game (rounded up). Eg If 12 players in
game, deity receives 11 points. Where there are co-deities, the points
are not split, in recognition of the work involved.
I had originally planned for the score to be based on a 4 year cycle. I
have decided to change to a 5 year cycle. Current points are for
2001-2005.

ITW, TM2K4, PZ I-III, Retro Empire, Havok I+II, Pangaea, Midshipman
I+II, Newbie I+II+III, Iceworld 2-5, Ogre, Mr Slowly I+II, SW I+II,
LOTR I+II.
Note that points have not been awarded for countries in Star Wars and
LOTR if I do not know who you are. If you would like your points
